Frequently Asked Questions
Services & Capabilities
Do you only work with nonprofits or cause-based organizations?
Not at all. We work with clients of all types including private, corporate, public, and everything in between. Our specialty lies in blending industry-standard design practices with deep expertise in human-centered design and ADA compliance. It makes our work not just beautiful, but purposeful and accessible.
Can you help with accessibility audits or ADA-compliant design?
Absolutely. We provide audits for websites, documents, and full brand systems—including logos and visual assets. Unlike agencies that rely on after-the-fact fixes or plugins, we design accessibly from the start, with real people in mind.

Working With Us
Do you offer free consultations?
Yes! We offer a 30-minute complimentary consultation to make sure we’re the right fit for your goals before any commitments are made.
What types of clients do you typically work with?
We’ve worked with private businesses, public agencies, startups, corporate teams, TV networks, county and city government agencies, wineries and restaurants, and more. We’re experienced in standard agency work, but with accessibility as our niche, not our limit.
Do you work with businesses outside of Sacramento?
Absolutely. We’re a fully remote agency and work with clients across the U.S. and beyond. We’re also happy to meet in person across the Sacramento region with availability depending.
Pricing & Process
How much does a typical project cost?
Project costs vary based on scope. We approach accessibility as part of our standard process (no upcharge). Additional remediation (backend coding) may cost more. We’re always open to working within realistic budgets.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. We discuss flexible payment options during your consultation and outline everything clearly in the proposal.
How long does a project take?
Timelines vary depending on deliverables. We use a project management system called Wrike to keep things on track and transparent, building in flexibility for your review process while keeping our design milestones consistent.
Accessibility & Inclusion
How do you ensure your designs are accessible?
With experience in ADA remediation, we apply those ADA best practices to every design—starting from the first draft. We build for real people, not just checkboxes.
What accessibility standards do you follow?
We follow WCAG 2.1 AA and AAA standards and stay current with evolving compliance requirements in both digital and print design.
Can you explain what inclusive design means to you?
To us, inclusive design means creating for the full range of human experience—centering access, clarity, and belonging from the beginning.
Are your services friendly to disabled, neurodivergent, or nonverbal clients?
Yes. We design our workflows, communication, and deliverables to be flexible, human-centered, and respectful of all needs and communication styles.

What’s your cancellation or refund policy?
We don’t offer refunds for completed work. All time is logged, and if you cancel, we’ll only invoice for work already done. Hourly rates and deliverable-specific terms will be included in your proposal.
Do I own the design files after the project ends?
Yes. You’ll receive editable files (when applicable) and final exports. We retain the right to showcase the work in our portfolio and social media.
How do you handle sensitive or protected content?
We use password-protected systems for file sharing and communication. Your content stays confidential, and we’ll follow any additional privacy measures you require.
